I was invited to carpool with one of the CAL admins to Showdown LAN in Indianapolis this weekend…it’s kind of last minute, but I don’t have Daniel this weekend and I’m trying to make it work.
I’m also trying to make arrangements to attend the Winter CPL event in Dallas…December 18-23. That one is going to be harder, logistically, as I’ll have to arrange for someone to watch Daniel during the week and arrange travel to/from Dallas. However, the CPL rate (extended to CAL admins volunteering at the event) is $62/night for an Executive suite in the Hyatt-Regency. I think it would be a lot of fun, so I’m going to try to make it work.
