I quit my CAL admin job tonight, likely for good. As I mentioned before, I didn’t have the time to dedicate to it. I found out that several of the people that were going to volunteer at CPL this week had decided to not go, so I don’t feel bad about quitting before playoffs are over and decided to get it out of the way. Also, I remembered to cancel my CPL tickets, so I’ve got $135 in credit through Southwest Airlines that I can use sometime in the future.
Anyway, it’s one less thing for me to feel bad about not putting enough time into. I’m glad I had an opportunity to contribute to the league in a meaningful way and I think I made an impact on some people, for better or worse. I just wish that I could adequately use some of it as relevant experience in job interviews…but it would take too long to explain what CAL is and why it’s respectable. *shrug*
